Plan your work
& finish on time.
Tastic is a hierarchical task planner and time tracker. Plan out your tasks and subtasks and set a timer for each one to keep you focused.
The solution to time blindness
One symptom of ADHD that medications don’t help is time blindness, which is when you can’t accurately estimate how much time has passed. People with time blindness start doing something, and then don’t notice when an hour (or three) has passed.
Time blindness is a real productivity killer. Tasks that should take ten minutes end up taking an hour. Our solution is to add a timer to each task: when you start working on a task, you estimate how long it will take, and start the timer. This way you never lose track of time.
Always know what to do next
ADHD sufferers know that the biggest hurdle is getting started. The key is to always have todo list items that are next actions — not something vague like “fix bug” but something small and concrete like “read the bug report”, followed by “reproduce locally”.
Traditional to-do lists don’t help with this. Tastic lets you make a hierarchical to-do list: a todo tree. This way you can plan out your work in concrete detail, so you always know what to do next, removing the hump of getting started and preventing you from getting derailed.
